Return to my Strawberry Shortcake Room
The very nicest thing about collecting Strawberry Shortcake is the wonderful people you meet and make friends with.

This wonderful room belongs to a lovely lady called Pat who was kind enough to share her room with me after seeing my Strawberry Shortcake Room.

I think ther room is just wonderful and I am happy to tell you that Pat is pleased to be sharing it with you too!!

I will tell you a little bit more about Pat and her Strawberry Shortcake collecting as your tour her lovely room and also a wonderful bathroom.
This wonderful room makes you wish you could go back and be Orphan Annie who gets adopted by Pat and Ray!!
And here is Pat's story of how she got into Strawberry Shortcake collecting:

"The whole thing started when I saw these two cute dolls at a flea market...
both were completely dressed and had their vinyl hats ... Blueberry Muffin and Huckleberry Pie.

Then I ran across a Strawberry Shortcake doll house at a garage sale.

I was hooked.

Seemed I had to buy any Strawberry Shortcake item I could find.

I ended up putting my extras in my booth at the local mall and on ebay.

When we decided to move to Kansas City from Dallas, there just wasn't a house right for our many collections.

So, of course, we built a house to fit..

(Leni: Now this is a lady after my own heart!!)

... walk-out basement and lots of built-in cabinets.
There are no basements in Texas, so you can imagine the 'stuff' piled everywhere.

Now we have the nice red and white Strawberry Shortcake Room with Bathroom.

I couldn't believe it when we were looking for doorknobs and drawer pulls for the house and say "Strawberry" knobs.

We just had to have them for the drawers in the SSC room.

Before the Strawberry Shortcake books came out, my friend and I used to use a magnifying glass on the booklets that came with the boxed dolls, trying to 'See" which shoes when with which doll.

We would have 'trade' days to barter items and pieces of clothing.

Lots of Fun!!!!
I just love Pat's Room!!!

She is now looking forward to getting a grandchild the right age to enjoy it!!

Isn't it just fabulous!!
Lovely Strawberry knobs.
And finally, say hello to:

Pat and Ray
