| Since the Brazilian dolls and other collectibles started to appear on ebay lots of lovely new treasures were discovered. On this page I am featuring Brazilian items which I believe are very rare, because I haven't seen them before on ebay nor on collectors pages. All these items were made under licence from American Greetings Corp and usually were made by Estrela, which also made the dolls. Enjoy !! |

| Strawberry Shortcake Porcelain Telephone Lamp This is indeed a wonderful treasure. It was originally discovered by Kathy and you may have seen it on her homepage. I was lucky enough to be able to buy it from her earlier this year. Unfortunately the bulb on the end of one of the handles was broken in transit to Kathy's place from Brazil, so it has been glued together again. Isn't it just wonderful!! The gold label underneath says it was made by Colecao under licence to American Greetings Corp 1984. |
| Strawberry Shortcake Rag Doll. I am not sure if this is the Brazilian version of Strawberry Shortcake Rag Doll. It came to me as a present from my Brazilian friends, Cid and Elisette. Her Bonnet and outfit is covered in Strawberries and she also has the trademark striped leggings, which in Brazil dolls are thinner than the American dolls. Her tag says she was manufactured by De Brinquedos Estrela, which is the company that produce the dolls and other Brazil SSC treasures. If you know anything at all about this darling, I would love to hear from you. |
