| During 2000, a number of 'unusual' Strawberry Shortcake Dolls started to come onto the eBay acution site. They were made by Estrela in Brazil, under licence to American Greetings Corp. They were all different form the normal Strawberry Shortcake range produced for the USA and the rest of the world!! When they first started to appear there was a lot of excitement among Strawberry Shortcake collectors and they have quickly become very 'hot' items, especially once they started to appear in Mint In Box condition, which also meant that we had access to the product booklets that accompanied the dolls. Since then quite a bit of information about these dolls, which were produced between 1983 and 1992, has become available. There are a total of 68 dolls in the 5" version and som berry gorgeous but hard to find wonderful Blow Kiss Dolls. Without Cid, I doubt that I would ever have found most of these dolls.
